Galette des Rois is back !
Galette des Rois (King’s cake) is a traditional french dessert served on Epiphany day (6th of January) to celebrate the arrival of the Three Kings to the manger where Jesus was born. Galette des Rois is a simple cake made with puff pastry and frangipane cream. Inside the cake is hidden a non-edible little charm (called la fève), if you find it in your slice of galette, you become the King or Queen of the day and can wear the paper crown. Mind your teeth !
Instructions: reheat the galette in a hot oven for 10 to 15 minutes. The youngest person goes under the table and call each name one by one to be served in this specific order. Enjoy !
All Galettes are served with 1 paper crown and 1 non-edible charm.
Allergens: gluten, nuts (almonds), dairy, eggs, rum. The design of each galette can vary from the photos as they’re all handmade.
